Hello Mountain Riders,

You’ll learn the art of mountain riding and packing. The goal of this clinic is to make you able to begin your mountain journey on your own -- with confidence, experience and safety!

My techniques are simple and easy to learn – no complicated hitches or expensive gear. Professionally guided recreational & hunting pack trips in America’s southwest for over 20 years.

DAY ONE -- Ground Work

Mountain Horseback Riding Techniques

DAY TWO

In-Field Training
• Each rider saddles and packs their riding and packing animal.
• Rider pony one pack animal.
• Ride to a base camp and set up camp.

 

DAY THREE

In-Field Training
• Each rider breaks camp and saddles and packs their riding and packing animals.
• Rider pony pack animal to trailhead.
